The system already knows there is a crack. The simulation is over. Monitoring reaches its critical point: as subjects advance through identity dismantling, the outside world activates its recovery protocols. It is no longer simply about erasing the biological trace — it is about surviving the response of an algorithm that does not permit any infrastructure to be lost. Ross and the Threshold subjects face the final paradox: to reach absolute freedom, they must cross the point of no return where biology ceases to respond to social laws. You are not escaping a place.
